GS Labelprint, based in Kamatero Athens, was established in 2014 by Mr. George Laoudis and is a natural continuity of the successful pre-existing business of its partners, with more than 20 years’ experience in the printing market. The company is active in the label market, printing adhesive labels and packaging materials (wholesale, retail, exports). Τhe evolving demand οf the market for quality products at competitive prices, as well as flexible, low-run jobs, fast switching times   and delivery times, it has strategically focused on investing in state-of-the-art production equipment.

Recently, GS Labelprint invested in the Durst Tau 330 UV inkjet printer. Mr. Georgios Laoudis, General Manager, said: “We are already producing digital labels. However, our
growing customer demands and competition in the market require us to upgrade our production. After a market survey, we chose Durst’s Tau 330 printer, which adds speed to our production, lower production costs and a larger color range, since we can now manage up to 23 Pantone per job, offering up to 90% coverage of the Pantone color gamut. Print quality is impeccable and the inks are very durable. We can print labels on more materials, even on difficult, such as heat-sensitive. In addition, it offers ease of work management, significantly reducing pre-print time. We believe that with this investment we will respond to the demands of our customers and at the same time we will be able to enter new, more demanding, markets “. The Durst Tau 330 is a Digital UV Inkjet Label Press designed for short and medium run narrow web applications covering web widths up to 35cm and print width from 16,5 cm (6,5 in.) to a max. 33 cm (13 in.), running at a printing speed of up to 48 m(157 ft.) per minute and printing resolution of 1260 dpi. Durst’s proprietary Single Pass UV Inkjet Technology offers a whole new range of color configurations to cover the majority of requested label printing applications. Its standard color configuration CMYK can be completed with optional White as well as optional Orange and Violet color thus offering up  90% coverage of the Pantone color gamut (depending on substrate), creating images with vivid and superior color appearance compared to conventionally printed flexographic images. The Durst Tau 330 offers High Definition printing mode with a print resolution of up to 1260 dpi. With this feature, the printer achieves very good and crisp playback of text and small details of widgets as well as crisp and clear gradient backgrounds and soft skin tones. For the Tau 330, Durst offers a separate label workflow system. This comprehensive solution covers all processes from data management and print data preparation to output on the printer and reporting.
