Today Renksan Label and Printing Solutions is between leading label producers in Turkey serving several markets such as cosmetic, agrochemical, chemical and food.
Renksan Label continues to expand its activities in Gebze at Kocaeli and they are moving to new factory with 4.000 sqm industrial building with modern facilities, new offices and bigger media warehouse. This will make the company to work in vertical production offering higher capacity with new advanced services to their customers.
Expansion of activities includes also new investment in production equipment: Durst Tau 330 RSC E advanced digital UV inkjet press. Mr. Orhan Tuyyuz stated about this investment:
“After extensive market research between digital, flexo and offset technologies, we decided to be the first one in Turkey to bring the most advanced digital label printing technology of Durst, Tau 330 RSC E inkjet press. We compared parameters like high printing quality, printing speed, printing costs, ease of use, substrate variety, needless of prime were the main reasons. We visited the new impressive Durst factory in Italy and decision after this was an easy choice and best match for our new premises.
The flexibility of the new machine will give us the opportunity to provide fast turnaround times, attention-grabbing high quality, short-runs, cost saving and design flexibility to our customers. It will add more production possibilities combined with our existing equipment and help us to offer new products and enter new markets.”
The Durst Tau 330 RSC E UV inkjet label printing system combines industrial productivity with impressive print quality and efficiency. The press uses Durst’s state of-the-art RSC technology. Its native resolution of 1,200 x 1,200 dpi combined with its smallest drop size of
2 pl provides photo-like print quality. In combination with the high printing speed of 52 m/min a production capacity of 1,020 sqm/h is achievable. In addition, the white color can be used at full speed of 52 m/min.
The Tau 330 RSC E can be equipped with 8 colors (CMYK + W + OVG) and is printing with the highly pigmented Durst Tau RSC inks. Up to 95% of Pantone coverage gives the possibility to match and reproduce brand specific colors easily. During development, special focus was dedicated on the upgradeability and flexibility of the system.
All options from the Tau 330 RSC as for example the chill roller, variable data printing or the external jumbo winders can be fitted to the Tau 330 RSC E. If the need for additional production capacity is increasing over time, the Tau 330 RSC E can also be upgraded to a printing speed of 80 m/min.
It prints on coated and uncoated, supported and unsupported substrates, paper, white and transparent film, PP, PE, PVC, PET, BOPP, aluminum foil.
For the Tau 330 series, Durst offers a separate label workflow system. This comprehensive solution covers all processes from data management and print data preparation to output on the printer and reporting. Access to the software is browser-based and can also be managed without any additional installations from mobile devices.
The Durst Label Workflow system offers a range of modules that can be expanded at any time and adapted to the requirements at hand. The various modules include solutions for variable data printing, ink cost calculations, the digital color management system, job management and much more.
