P5 TEX iSUB
Our response to the challenges of the soft signage market
A clear promise!
The Durst P5 TEX iSUB combines sublimation printing and fixation in a single device, for a one-step direct to fabrics printing process. With a print width of 350cm, this makes it a true all-rounder for the soft signage market. This opens up an extraordinarily wide range of applications – retail, trade fairs, flags, short-term outdoor advertising spaces and textile design are just a few examples! The P5 TEX iSUB is not only limited to direct printing, but transfer papers can also be printed and processed in the usual way
Production times can be reduced by up to 40% with the Durst P5 TEX iSUB, thanks to integrated inline fixation. Only one person is required to operate the machine, greatly cutting down on personnel costs. The user-friendliness and high degree of automation support the operators in their daily work and is accompanied by massive reduction in energy and material consumption.
With a maximum output of up to 422 m2/h, the Durst P5 TEX iSUB is positioned in the absolute high-performance class. This is achieved in conjunction with the Durst workflow software and the Durst RIP. And the Durst Analytics software tool provides customers all the relevant data to continuously optimize production.
Thanks to the use of water-based, odorless inks, the Durst P5 TEX iSUB fits into any sustainability strategy. By investing in a Durst P5 TEX iSUB, energy consumption can be reduced by up to 60%. The integrated finishing unit – with sewing and stitching functions – significantly reduces material waste and the inks are certified with the Oeko-Tex® Eco Passport.
The Sublifix Dye sublimation ink developed by Durst delivers vibrant colors – even on difficult media such as blackback or backlit for light boxes or flags. A unique feature is the innovative contactless fixation. It delivers outstanding color consistency and impressive sharpness of detail – for images and text alike.
Durst P5 Sublifix inks
The inks have been optimized for both direct printing and inline fixation. Light colors of cyan, magenta and black provide a high level of detail and ensure harmonious gradients. Orange can be used to expand the color space in a targeted manner and, of course, the inks have Oeko-Tex® Eco Passport certification.
