(NASDAQ: SSYS), a leader in additive manufacturing solutions, today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire MarkForged, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Nano Dimension, in an all-cash transaction valued at $42.5 million, subject to customary adjustments. In 2025, Markforged generated approximately $70 million in revenue, including their Metal Binder Jetting product line, which Nano Dimension will retain. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

MarkForged, Inc. is a leading provider of end-to-end Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) solutions. Their integrated platform, The Digital Forge, seamlessly combines hardware, in-house materials, and secure software including simulation, part management, and automated print optimization. Durst launches mid-market P5

Christoph Gamper introduced the P5 350 Core during a Fespa press conference

Durst Group has launched the new P5 350 Core, which it said opens its P5 platform to a broader mid-market segment, at Fespa Global Print Expo.

With the tagline ‘Your first Durst’, Core combines technologies and features from across the P5 portfolio into one integrated platform.

Durst, exhibiting at stand 3-A115, said it reflects the XT (Extended Technology) concept of continuous development, performance optimisation, and upgradeability across the installed base. The system incorporates the latest software architecture, enabling future performance updates and extended application capabilities.

The Kyveris intelligence system-ready hybrid machine can print boards up to 3.5m-wide, single rolls up to 3.47m or dual rolls up to 1.625m. It uses 7pl Ricoh Gen5 printheads and up to 10 colour channels (CMYK + Lc, Lm + W + special).

It can print at peak speeds of up to 325sqm/hr and production speeds up to around 170sqm/hr.

Features such as the high-performance vacuum belt expand material flexibility, while the new machine design is said to improve operator handling and reduce setup effort.

Energy consumption is measured in accordance with ISO 20690. The base configuration has an average ink consumption of 6.00ml/sqm, with up to 30% additional savings through workflow optimisation.

The P5 350 Core is commercially available now, with deliveries starting in July.

Durst said Kyveris includes the Open Software Initiative (OSI), providing open APIs and documented interfaces for integration with MIS, workflow and finishing systems.

Durst will also present corrugated applications and developments in digital corrugated production workflows together with Koenig & Bauer Durst at 3-C160.

The focus includes applications for the P5 SMP (Super Multi-Pass) hybrid LED inkjet system for board and roll printing.

Durst acquires Spanish cutting systems specialist

Durst has acquired the majority stake in Spanish cutting systems company Hasler Solutions.

The printer manufacturer’s CEO and co-owner Christoph Gamper posted on Linkedin yesterday (4 February) that the business had “real engineering depth and market credibility”.

Hasler managing director and co-owner Marc Hasler, who Gamper described as “the driving force behind the business”, is staying on as part of the deal.

“From the very first moment we met, it was obvious that we would work together. Shared values, shared standards, shared ambition,” said Gamper.

“What started as a collaboration has now become something more. A Durst family story. Hasler Solutions remains independent and open to all customers. That is non-negotiable.

“At the same time, together we will take print and cut to an industrial level that the market expects and deserves. Scalable, robust, uncompromising in quality.”

He said there would be more to come at Fespa Global Print Expo, which is taking place in Barcelona from 19 to 22 May 2026.

Hasler also commented on LinkedIn: “Happy and proud that Hasler Solutions is now a member of the Durst family and looking forward to creating a ‘big’ future together.”

The Hasler Solutions range includes the 5.1m-wide Magna production cutter, available in various lengths between 2.5m and 5.3m, and with a cutting speed up to 120m/min.

Amonn Print Factory is among the first companies to adopt the Durst TAU G3 Core, a high-performance digital press that delivers excellent results. Thanks to its intuitive software, improved ergonomics, and smart machine design, full production speed was reached almost immediately after installation.

The TAU G3 Core offers very high productivity, printing up to 80 m/min and around 60 m/min with white ink at 1200 × 1200 dpi, representing a 20% productivity increase compared to previous technology. Lower white ink consumption allows jobs to be efficiently transferred from older systems.

Advanced solutions such as Durst ARC (Automatic Register Control) and Durst MEP (Material Edge Protection) ensure stable production, protect printheads, and enhance overall reliability. Επιτυχης η παρουσια της Lino στην Global Pack 2025

Μεγάλη επιτυχία σημείωσε η παρουσία της Lino και της Lino3D στην έκθεση «Global Pack 2025». Κατά την διάρκεια της έκθεσης παρουσιαστήκαν πρωτοποριακές τεχνολογίες τόσο στην ψηφιακή εκτύπωση όσο και στην εκτύπωση 3D.

Στο περίπτερο υπήρχε σε πρώτη παρουσίαση στην ελληνική αγορά και σε συνεχή λειτουργία ο υβριδικός επίπεδος εκτυπωτής P5 X με δυνατότητες ρολού. Ο εκτυπωτής αποτελεί τη νεότερη προσθήκη στην επιτυχημένη οικογένεια εκτυπωτών P5 της Durst.

Ο P5 X είχε διαμόρφωση με 10 χρωματικά κανάλια – το βασικό cmyk, light cyan, light magenta, πορτοκαλί και βιολετί, λευκό και βερνίκι. Επίσης διάταξη για εκτύπωση ενός ρολού πλάτους 3,5 μέτρων και διάταξη για εκτύπωση δύο ρολών πλάτους 1,60 μέτρων. Οι «ζωντανές» εκτυπώσεις πραγματοποιούταν σε διάφορα υλικά με απαράμιλλη ποιότητα και ταχύτητα, ακόμα και εξειδικευμένες εφαρμογές, προσελκύοντας την προσοχή πολλών επισκεπτών.

Οι εξειδικευμένες εφαρμογές περιλάμβαναν την εκτύπωση Hapt-Printing δημιουργώντας πραγματικές ανάγλυφες εκτυπώσεις με δεκαοκτώ στρώσεις μελανιών για διαφήμιση, αναπαραγωγή πινάκων ζωγραφικής, κλπ., την εφαρμογή τοπικού βερνικιού ή και ολικού βερνικιού και την εφαρμογή Lensprint (συνδυασμός δύο αρχείων που το κάθε ένα είναι ορατό ανάλογα με την γωνία θέασης) τόσο σε άκαμπτα φύλλα όσο και σε εύκαμπτα υλικά σε ρολό.

Ο εκτυπωτής δέχεται υλικά σε φύλλα μέγιστες διαστάσεις 325 εκ. x 215 εκ. και πάχος μέχρι 7 εκατοστά, έχει ταχύτητα παραγωγής μέχρι 120 τ.μ./ώρα, με πολύ οικονομική τιμή απόκτησης στην κατηγορία αυτή.

Στο περίπτερο παρουσιάστηκαν δείγματα από τις άλλες τεχνολογίες εκτύπωσης της Durst σχετικές με την εκτύπωση ετικετών και εύκαμπτης συσκευασίας. Υπήρχαν δείγματα ετικετών σε πληθώρα διαφορετικών υλικών από την επιτυχημένη σειρά των ψηφιακών UV inkjet εκτυπωτών Durst Tau RSC.

Πρόσφατα, στην Labelexpo 2025 το πορτφόλιο των εκτυπωτικών συστημάτων της Durst για ετικέτες εμπλουτίστηκε με την νέα πλατφόρμα Tau G3, που ενσωματώνει καινοτομίες που αλλάζουν το τοπίο στην αγορά προσφέροντας Αξιοπιστία, Απλότητα και Παραγωγικότητα στην εκτύπωση ψηφιακών ετικετών.

Επίσης παρουσιάστηκε το νέο ευέλικτο λογισμικό Durst Workflow, μία ολοκληρωμένη λύση διαχείρισης εργασιών για τους τομείς που ειδικεύεται η Durst: ετικέτας και συσκευασίας, συσκευασίας με κυματοειδή υλικά και εκτυπώσεων μεγάλου σχήματος. Η διαχείριση αρχίζει από το αρχείο του πελάτη μέχρι την ολοκλήρωση της εργασίας. Το λογισμικό μπορεί να προσαρμοστεί στις απαιτήσεις των χρηστών, προσφέροντας μεταξύ άλλων λύσεις για εκτύπωση μεταβλητών δεδομένων, υπολογισμό κόστους μελανιών, διαχείριση χρωμάτων, διαχείριση εργασιών κλπ.

Στο περίπτερο υπήρχαν 2 stands της εταιρείας UNIPAKHELLAS, το Skittles Floor Stand – Digital Packaging και το Catisfaction Floor Stand – Point of Sale. Τα stands αυτά βραβεύτηκαν στα WorldStar Awards 2025, που διοργανώθηκαν από τον Παγκόσμιο Οργανισμό Συσκευασίας (WPO). Ανταγωνιζόμενη περισσότερες από 500 συμμετοχές από πάνω από 40 χώρες, η UNIPAKHELLAS ξεχώρισε για τις καινοτόμες, βιώσιμες και επικεντρωμένες στον καταναλωτή λύσεις συσκευασίας που προσφέρει. Οι εκτυπώσεις των stands έγιναν στον εκτυπωτή Durst 350HS και το φινίρισμά τους έγινε με κοπτικά της εταιρείας Elitron.

Επίσης προβλήθηκαν προϊόντα των εταιρειών GM και Elitron.

Η GM Denmark είναι η Grafisk Maskinfabrik A/S, που ιδρύθηκε το 1975 στη Δανία και κατασκευάζει μηχανήματα υψηλής ποιότητας για τις βιομηχανίες μεταποίησης ετικετών, φινιρίσματος και εύκαμπτης συσκευασίας.
Με σχεδόν 50 χρόνια εμπειρίας, η εταιρεία είναι παγκόσμιος ηγέτης γνωστή για την παραγωγή καινοτόμων και αξιόπιστων λύσεων, όπως η πλατφόρμα μεταποίησης DC, και έχει επεκταθεί ώστε να περιλαμβάνει εξειδικευμένα μηχανήματα για λειτουργικά υλικά.

Η σειρά των κοπτικών DC διαθέτει βερνίκι φλεξογραφίας UV, πλαστικοποίηση, εφαρμογή ψυχρής χρυσοτυπίας, κοπή με καλούπι, σχίσιμο και διπλή επανατύλιξη σε ενιαίες πλατφόρμες. Συνδέεται άψογα με τις μονάδες θερμοτυπίας, γκοφρέ και μεταξοτυπίας της GM, εξασφαλίζοντας ολοκληρωμένη λειτουργικότητα.

Η Elitron είναι μια κορυφαία εταιρεία στον τομέα της ρομποτικής κοπής και του αυτοματισμού, με έδρα στην Ευρώπη στην Ιταλία και θυγατρική στην Ατλάντα των ΗΠΑ.

Δραστηριοποιείται σε διάφορους τομείς, σχεδιάζοντας και παράγοντας συστήματα και λογισμικό για τους τομείς της συσκευασίας, της ψηφιακής εκτύπωσης, κλπ. με κοπτικά σε διάφορα μεγέθη τραπεζιών επίπεδα αυτοματισμών. Ιδανικά κοπτικά για παραγωγή stands και συστημάτων προβολής από χαρτόνια.

Τέλος στο περίπτερο υπήρχαν και δείγματα 3D από την εταιρεία Stratasys για παραγωγή έγχρωμων πρωτοτύπων για την συσκευασία, με δυνατότητα παρουσίασης γρήγορα και εύκολα ενός προϊόντος σε μορφή «έτοιμη για λιανική πώληση». Η τεχνολογία της Stratasys προσφέρει ταχεία έγχρωμη πρωτοτυποποίηση συσκευασιών όπως φορείς από πλαστικό, από γυάλινα μπουκάλια ή πώματα. Επιδείχθηκε 3D επιτύπωση σε μπουκάλια για ανάγλυφη επιφάνεια μεγάλου ύψους ή όγκου και γραφή braille.
