Durst Group showcases Durst Hawk Eye

Durst Group introduces the revolutionary Durst Hawk Eye technology at Labelexpo Europe 2023. This technology, which utilizes computer vision and artificial intelligence, will assist operators, and automate the print quality. Since the launch of the first pallet-to-pallet Kombo TAV cutting system in 2012, Elitron’s automatic, industrial cutting platform has gone from strength to strength. From pallet-to- pallet productivity, the platform now offers many more interesting and patented features which have increased productivity both in family-run and multinational companies alike.

Single and multi-pallets are managed with minimal operator intervention during set up, for truly unmanned productivity, 24/7, with patented, integrated pallet logistics for non-stop production. The integrated, patented camera system, ‘Seeker System’ identifies the position of the printed graphics and reference point from both the top and underside and realigns the cutting file to allow for any possible distortion, for seamless productivity and the highest quality finish.

Alongside printed boards, Kombo TAV makes light of cutting & creasing corrugated, cardboard and honeycomb materials.“Single pallets and stacks can be loaded and unloaded from the front and back for in-line production, or from the sides if space is an issue in the production site and a smaller footprint is required,” adds Malatesta.

The optional, integrated rolling system, for roll-in, roll-out multi- pallet logistics management is engineered to meet the specific site automation requirements and can incorporate the automatic, in-line or stand alone, Reversa sheet turner for further automation.

Another option that has been widely adopted is the Acetal unloading conveyor which can be programmed to unload single, or batches of boards as required.

Two independent, multi-tool cutting heads cut and crease single or multiple smaller boards and Elitron’s patented ‘Airo Panel’ then removes all cut and waste material and creates a neat stack in the unloading bay, on the waiting pallet.

The highly eficient vacuum Airo Panel removes even the most testing cutting jobs and waste materials completely, and the company says that many of its customers say, “the Airo Panel is a real game-changer”.

For honeycomb, double and triplewall boards, the new, patented DL45 tool makes light of cutting a 90 degree V-Cut in one single pass, cutting production times of these materials by 50%, without compromising on the highest quality finish

The recently launched new PMH, Protective Material Handling system, ensures printed board is handled with the utmost care when being automatically loaded, to avoid any damage to the print. This system doesn’t drag sheets when loading but uses a contactless method to prevent any damage.

“Not only have Elitron invested in innovation of late, but they have also reduced energy consumption for their customers too. From 2023 all Elitron systems now come with the new EPMS, Elitron Power Management System which reduces energy consumption of the powerful vacuum by up to 50%,” concludes Malatesta.

Vale Labels grows digital print capabilities with Durst Tau 330 RSC-E

The Wellington, Somerset manufacturer of high quality labels with specialist finishes works closely with major brands and prides itself on high levels of customer service across sectors including food and drink, manufacturing, cosmetics and supplements. Vale Labels sets standards of excellence in print.

Digiprint S.A. chooses Durst again

Digiprint S.A., a leading vertically integrated provider of digital printing, advertising and large format printing in Greece, has once again confirmed its preference for Durst by investing in the 5th Durst printer in a row, namely the new P5 500 D4 digital roll-to-roll printer with a printing width of 5.24 meters and a maximum production speed of 360 m²/hour at 2 passes.

Digiprint is constantly investing in the enrichment of its state-of-the-art equipment and the adoption of innovative technological methods.
Consistent with the above business strategy, the company recently made another investment in the new digital roll-to-roll printer Pinnacle Level in Super-Wide Format Printing Durst P5 500 D4 accompanied by DURST WORKFLOW (Prepress & Production automation) with White color with a maximum production speed of 360 sqm/hour in 2 Pass mode.

The Top Level in wide format printing

Durst P5 500 D4 is a large format printer with LED curing technology. With a printing width of 5.2 m, it is suitable for many roll-to-roll applications for unrivalled production. An integrated roll support greatly simplifies media loading and changing. Rolls can be processed in single, dual and triple mode – in dual mode even asymmetrically. It is capable of printing one 5.24 m roll or simultaneously printing two 2.5 m rolls or three 1.625 m wide rolls or even 2 asymmetrical rolls (3.2 m + 1.625 m). Printing can be done unattended by the operator, with reliable performance and most importantly with excellent print quality even at very high production speeds allowing printing companies to complete their jobs faster.

The Durst P5 Double 4 (D4) technology maximizes the productivity of the P5 UV series printing systems through the implementation of a double CMYK color configuration. With print heads that deliver a 7 picoliters drop, the resolution is 700×1200 dpi or 900×1200 dpi. It can be configured with 10 channels by adding other colors. The printer has a system for automatic measurement of the width of the printing materials, a system for holding the materials at the edges, printing on both sides with absolute coincidence and systems for cutting the printed roll at the output without interrupting the printing.

Rapid Expansion Requires Second Digital Press

PUBBLISERVICE The rapid expansion of the label market prompted the company to invest in a Durst Tau printing system in 2017 and in a second machine now.

Pubbliservice Srl was founded in 1984 in Parma/I as a traditional screen printing company out of the passion of the Salati family. In 2015, the business expanded with the opening of a new division dedicated to digital label printing, able to interact with traditional finishing systems.
“Our customer base includes small manufacturers and suppliers who turn to us to produce highly customised products,” explains Filippo Salati, Pubbliservice sales manager, “a service for which the speed of execution and quality guaranteed by Tau is a key element.”
The evolution of Pubbliservice’s business and the continuous growth that has characterised the labels sector in recent years have led the company to expand its production department and invest in a second Tau. A decision dictated by the desire to enter new markets by being able to quickly meet the demands of a larger customer base with this new addition.
Installed at Pubbliservice in March 2023, the new Tau 330 RSC has a CMYK + white configuration and is equipped with an inspection camera that allows real-time print quality verification. The company’s goals for the near future include the development of an online shop dedicated to custom label printing.

Μόναχο, Γερμανία – 23.05.23 – Η Vanguard Europe παρουσίασε σήμερα έναν UV εκτυπωτή επίπεδης επιφάνειας επόμενης γενιάς, τον VK3220T-HS, στο FESPA Global στο Μόναχο της Γερμανίας. Σε μια πρώτη δημόσια εμφάνιση, το μηχάνημα έχει περίοπτη θέση στο περίπτερο του μαζί με την Durst, η οποία είναι ιδιοκτήτης της Vanguard από το 2020. Οι θεατές καλούνται να δουν ζωντανή παραγωγή στο Hall A2, Stand A10.

Η κυκλοφορία σηματοδοτεί επίσης την επίσημη εισαγωγή μιας συμπαγούς, φιλικής προς το χρήστη σχεδίασης προϊόντων για το χαρτοφυλάκιο της Vanguard Europe. Ο Όμιλος Durst, κατασκευαστής τεχνολογιών ψηφιακής εκτύπωσης και παραγωγής, αποκάλυψε το διευρυμένο χαρτοφυλάκιό του P5 στη FESPA στο Μόναχο της Γερμανίας, με το σύνθημα «360° Παραγωγή Αριστείας». Το σύνθημα αναφέρεται στην εξέλιξη της εταιρείας από έναν καθαρά κατασκευαστή εκτυπωτών σε έναν πάροχο συστημάτων που συνδυάζει όλες τις πτυχές της ψηφιακής παραγωγής, όπως η αυτοματοποίηση, η ευελιξία, η ταχύτητα, το λογισμικό, οι υπηρεσίες και η βιωσιμότητα.

Durst P5 Robotics – Επόμενο επίπεδο αυτοματισμού

Μετά την εισαγωγή του P5 Automat, ενός αυτοματοποιημένου συστήματος τροφοδοσίας/στοίβαξης για εκτύπωση σε επίπεδη επιφάνεια, η Durst ξεκινά το επόμενο στάδιο αυτοματισμού με την P5 Robotics για ευέλικτους και συνεχείς κύκλους παραγωγής με μεγάλους χρόνους λειτουργίας. Στην καρδιά του P5 Robotics βρίσκεται το κορυφαίο υβριδικό σύστημα εκτύπωσης P5 350 HS D4, του οποίου η μονάδα τροφοδοσίας/στοίβαξης σχηματίζεται από δύο ρομπότ Kuka για να χειριστεί τη μη επανδρωμένη παραγωγή μιας πλήρους βάρδιας. Τα ρομπότ, τροποποιημένα και προγραμματισμένα από την Durst, μπορούν να συλλέγουν φύλλα από διαφορετικές παλέτες ύψους έως και 180 cm, να τα τροφοδοτούν και να τα στοιβάζουν ξανά ξεχωριστά. Στη διαδικασία, τα εκτυπωμένα φύλλα μπορούν επίσης να περιστραφούν κατά 180° για εκτύπωση από την αντίστροφη όψη και να τροφοδοτηθούν σε ένα δεύτερο σύστημα εκτύπωσης. Το P5 Robotics μπορεί επίσης να επεκταθεί με λύσεις τρίτων ή συστήματα φινιρίσματος.ου

Durst P5 350 HSR: Το ταχύτερο σύστημα εκτύπωσης roll-to-roll

Το υψηλής απόδοσης υβριδικό σύστημα εκτύπωσης της Durst, το Durst P5 350 HS, συνοδεύεται από το εξαιρετικά γρήγορο αντίστοιχο για εφαρμογές roll-to-roll, το P5 350 HSR.
Ο εκτυπωτής LED υψηλής ταχύτητας 3,5 μέτρων P5 HSR ρολού-σε-ρολό επιτυγχάνει ταχύτητες εκτύπωσης έως και 670 τ.μ. την ώρα και μπορεί να εξοπλιστεί με ένα προαιρετικό κύριο ρολό. Αυτό μπορεί να τροφοδοτήσει ρολά βάρους έως 1.000 κιλά και διαμέτρου 635 χιλιοστών, επιτρέποντας μεγάλους κύκλους παραγωγής χωρίς διακοπή.
Η ευελιξία και η προσαρμοστικότητα περιλαμβάνονται εδώ και το σύστημα εκτύπωσης μπορεί να εξοπλιστεί ως D4 με διπλό CMYK.
Για εκτύπωση mesh και διάτρητου υλικού, το Durst P5 350 HSR προσφέρει επεξεργασία, χωρίς σταγόνες μελανιού που λερώνουν την πλάκα εκτύπωσης, με το ενσωματωμένο σύστημα εκτύπωσης Mesh. Η λύση επιτρέπει επίσης την εύκολη και γρήγορη αλλαγή υλικού, η οποία μπορεί να γίνει από έναν μόνο χειριστή.
Η απόδοση μπορεί να αυξηθεί περαιτέρω μέσω προαιρετικών κάθετων και οριζόντιων μονάδων κοπής, οι οποίες λειτουργούν παράλληλα με τη διαδικασία εκτύπωσης.

Λογισμικό Durst: Ενσωμάτωση συστημάτων εκτύπωσης P5 στην παραγωγή

Η Durst έχει επενδύσει πολλά στην ανάπτυξη λογισμικού τα τελευταία χρόνια και τώρα προσφέρει ένα χαρτοφυλάκιο 360° για όλες τις πτυχές της διαδικασίας εκτύπωσης.
Για παράδειγμα, η Durst χρησιμοποιεί σήμερα το λογισμικό της Analytics για να παρακολουθεί περισσότερα από 900 συστήματα εκτύπωσης που είναι σε παραγωγή σε εγκαταστάσεις πελατών, προκειμένου να διασφαλίσει τη συνεχή διαθεσιμότητα των συστημάτων εκτύπωσης με μέτρα προληπτικής συντήρησης.
Πάνω από 600 πάροχοι υπηρεσιών εκτύπωσης χρησιμοποιούν επίσης το Durst Workflow για τα βήματα προεκτύπωσης και προετοιμασίας εκτύπωσης και 150 Smart Shops χρησιμοποιούνται σε παρόχους web-to-print για την απρόσκοπτη σύνδεση από το web store στην παραγωγή.

Με το Durst Analytics, η Durst Services προσφέρει επίσης απομακρυσμένη παρακολούθηση για να εξασφαλίσει επαγγελματική προμήθεια ανταλλακτικών, συμπεριλαμβανομένων λύσεων αποστολής σε συνδεδεμένα συστήματα εκτύπωσης. Είναι αυτονόητο για τoν Όμιλο Durst να χρησιμοποιήσει την τελευταία τεχνολογία για να μειώσει βιώσιμα το αποτύπωμα άνθρακα. Πέραν του ότι έχουν τεθεί σε λειτουργία τα φωτοβολταϊκά συστήματα στις εγκαταστάσεις παραγωγής του στο Brixen και στο Lienz, τα οποία παράγουν τουλάχιστον το 50% της ετήσιας ενεργειακής απαίτησης ή 2.200 MW/h, όλα τα κτίρια είναι εξοπλισμένα με τεχνολογία αιχμής για κτίρια και ενέργεια . Επιπλέον, ο Όμιλος Durst έχει λάβει την πρώτη του πιστοποίηση Ecovadis και θα συνεχίσει να βελτιώνει τις διαδικασίες με βάση αυτό.
