Αποχαιρετισμος στη Μαρουσα

Με αβάσταχτη οδύνη και ανείπωτο πόνο η οικογένεια της LINOGROUP αποχαιρετά την δημιουργό, φίλη και συνάδελφο Μαρούσα Κωνσταντινίδου.

Η Μαρούσα μας που δεν θα είναι πια κοντά μας, στάθηκε πάντοτε με ανυπόκριτο και πραγματικό ενδιαφέρον συμπαραστάτης και στήριγμα σε όλους μας και σε χαρές και σε λύπες.
Διακρίθηκε, εκτός από την καλοσύνη της, την θετική της σκέψη και το χιούμορ της, για την αποτελεσματικότητά της σε ό,τι και εάν εμπλεκόταν, δίνοντάς μας πολλές φορές με ένα δικό της ανεπανάληπτο και άμεσο τρόπο λύσεις που εμείς οι υπόλοιποι δυσκολευόμαστε να βρούμε.
Πάλεψε γενναία με τον καρκίνο, αντιμετωπίζοντας θαρραλέα και με απίστευτη αξιοπρέπεια το άδικο χτύπημα της μοίρας ως μαχήτρια.

Είναι δυσαναπλήρωτο το κενό που αφήνει η Μαρούσα μας σε όλους μας.

Our Maroussa, who will no longer be with us, has always been an uncompromising and genuine supporter and support for all of us, both in joys and sorrows.
She was distinguished, apart from her kindness, her positive thinking and her humor, for her effectiveness in whatever she was involved in, giving us many times in her own inimitable and direct way solutions that the rest of us find difficult to find.
She fought bravely with cancer, bravely and with incredible dignity facing the unfair blow of fate as a fighter.

It is hard to fill the void that our Maroussa leaves in all of us.

For us she is a part of our lives.

The Dutch customer API-4-BRANDS is the first customer in Europe, who invested in the new Durst dye-sublimation printer P5 TEX iSUB. Raymond De Wild, owner API-4-BRANDS, highlights in the interview the smooth installation process with the machine. Only a few days after the installation production jobs run already without problems. Thanks to the integrated inline fixation iSUB, the P5 TEX iSUB gives a great saving in time. A job can now be completed in one hour (compared to 4 hours when using an external heat press) and delivered very quickly.

DIGI PRINT – AL SH.P.K. established in 2007, based in TIRANA, Albania is a leading service print provider.

Printi opts for Durst Tau 330 RSC press

Brazilian converter headquartered in Barueri, close to São Paulo city, Printi, has renewed its partnership with Durst for the label printing segment through the investment in a second model of the Tau line, this time opting for the 330 RSC model.

Founded in 2012 by Florian Hagenbuch and Mate Pencz, since 2014, Printi has received investments from the Cimpress Group, which, in 2020, became the company’s main shareholder. Since its creation, the printer has specialized in producing high-quality prints on-demand and customized prints.

‘Of our 437 employees, 35 are dedicated to the technology area in our company,’ said Paulo Medeiros, industrial manager of Printi. ‘Printi focused on the labels segment since 2017. Today, we have more than 350 products in our portfolio, including printed labels on different types of substrates. And from the beginning, Durst was chosen as our partner.’

The first investment in a Tau 330E five years ago was based on the partnership that Durst already had internationally with the Cimpress Group. However, the process has been different with the second machine (scheduled to install in January 2022).

‘Durst and its structure in Brazil had a direct influence on the choice of brand and equipment for this new investment, which had the objective of meeting our growing demand. During the pandemic period, we had a 300 percent growth in our demand for labels and we were at our limit,’ added Medeiros. ‘Durst was once again chosen through its Tau 330 RSC technology.

‘The survey was based on the quality and productivity of the equipment, but what, finally, ended up surprising us positively was the operating cost, 21 percent lower and which will allow us to have a differentiated margin for adhesive products. In addition, the new technology of the Tau 330 RSC will allow us to gain speed, with 45 percent more productivity, and improve quality. The new print head technology allows printing in fine resolution with two picolitre dots, which was a very important evolution.’

According to Medeiros, the new Tau 330 RSC and all Printi’s investments in printing technology and intelligence renew the company’s commitment to the principles that guided its creation nine years ago.

‘We work with state-of-the-art technology because we need to deliver high quality in the short term, offering our customers an efficient online platform to order their prints on various substrates. Durst’s commercial and technical structure in Brazil was also fundamental to our decision because, in addition to the productivity and quality of the equipment, we also have local, close support. With the minimum delivery period that we work with, we cannot have the machine stopped,’ concluded Medeiros.

Ugur Etiket, based in Gaziantep, in the south of Turkey, was established in 1955 as an offset printing company. Since 2005, the company invests on label and packaging solutions. WHO IS UGUR ETIKET

Ugur Etiket was established in 1955 as an offset printing company and continued its activities as a leading institution in its sector in Gaziantep. Ugur Etiket, which has adopted the principle of following the technological developments by combining them with the current trends in the market, decided to invest in the label & packaging field in 2005.

Company milestones

In 2015 company invested in-line flexo press, going to printing technology up to 8 colors.

In 2018 with first UV Offset in the region, the 6-color UV Offset machine, the company further strengthened its competitive position.

2019 – Mass production with the first Full Servo Printing Machine in the region. The company added to the track at the end of 2019, short-length Bopp-Pearlize printing and Shrink Sleeve printing with 70 lpc resolution started to be offered.

Aroma AD (Sofia) invests in Durst Tau330 RSC-E

Especially for packaging Aroma recently added to their existing equipment the new UV inkjet label press Durst Tau 330 RSC-E.

Mr. Georgi Georgiev, Production Director Packaging, stated: «We offer to our customers complete products. Now we will be able to offer also complete samples. Major part of our production are products packed in tubes and they require labels printed on special materials such as clear films, foils etc. We have chosen the Durst UV inkjet digital press because it provides excellent printing results. Of course, we can print labels on many other materials».

Durst, manufacturer of innovative digital printing systems and software solutions, has updated its Tau RSC platform and further improved the successful Tau 330 RSC and Tau 330 RSC E presses for short and medium runs.

Durst has gained a vast know-how about specialty packaging applications such as blister, tubes, tags, tickets or folding cardboard. The Tau RSC platform printers are able to print on a large variety of substrates and the software solutions offered by Durst Workflow Label ensure an integrated workflow combined with secure handling of sensitive job data.

The press is available in 330mm print width, offering 4 colors or 4 colors and white option in full-speed mode. Its native resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi combines with its smallest drop size of 2pl and with newly developed, highly pigmented Durst Tau RSC inks, the printer produces outstanding print quality. Includes a new automatic maintenance feature to avoid downtime and reduce service costs.

Automatic cleaning of the print heads is carried out contact-free by the integrated maintenance unit, for better and stable print quality.

Durst RSC is equipped with advanced Durst Workflow Label software and Variable Data Printing software to enable the customers to prepare fast the printing jobs for the demanding label market.

A new Ink Save Mode allows Tau RSC platform users to reduce ink costs at an average of 12% on a CMYK press. Durst Analytics software reports production data in detail for the operation performance.
